Zenity Named a 2022 IDC Innovator in PaaS that Developers use to accelerate application development and deployment processes

International Data Corporation (IDC) published its annual Innovators report last Friday, November 18th and named Zenity as one of the top five innovative vendors offering a unique PaaS (Platform as a Service) solution that developers are using to accelerate their application development and deployment processes.
A significant amount of modern application and automation development is carried out using No-Code/Low-Code technologies. By leveraging such tools, anyone can now become a developer. Citizen development raises new security concerns as business users lack security know-how, while governance practices and guardrails like those in the pro-development world are of no existence. As empowering as these technologies are, when it comes to security it is a shared responsibility model not all enterprises and organizations understand. Meaning, No-Code/Low-Code platforms often lack the security layer needed to avoid security breaches, such as data exfiltration, credential sharing, and more.
According to Lara Greden, research director, PaaS: “In the digital-first world, companies that are serious about competing for the long-term use the lens of business outcomes to evaluate strategic technology decisions, which drives the fast-growing ecosystem seen in the PaaS market. Each of the vendors profiled in this IDC Innovators document contributes to making developers more productive and helps businesses differentiate themselves by providing a better experience to end users.”
Zenity is the only solution offering enterprises a holistic and centralized security governance approach for managing governance frameworks and policies, detecting security risks, and auto-mitigating issues related to compliance and security, for any No-Code/Low-Code apps, automations, and integrations.
“Some major cloud platform service providers may have similar offerings or approaches to the vendors we identified, but a clear point of differentiation is that the identified vendors allow for multicloud and/or cloud-agnostic deployments, thereby simplifying the ability for customers to deliver on digital innovation strategies while empowering developers,” said Lara Greden.
We are proud to be named an IDC Innovator, and will continue to lead the governance and security category for No-Code/Low-Code development.
