About Us

Zenity is the first and only holistic platform built to secure and govern AI Agents from buildtime to runtime. We help organizations defend against security threats, meet compliance, and drive business productivity. Trusted by many of the world’s F500 companies, Zenity provides centralized visibility, vulnerability assessments, and governance by continuously scanning business-led development environments. We recently raised $38 million in a Series B funding, solidifying our position as a leader in the industry and enabling us to accelerate our mission of securing AI Agents everywhere.

We are looking for a hands-on QA Architect to join a newly formed group within our Engineering department. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about software quality and test architecture, and eager to drive strategic and tactical improvements across all of Zenity’s products.

As a QA Architect, you will provide technical leadership and define best practices across our engineering teams, without managing people directly (at least at this stage). You will design, implement, and guide testing frameworks and methodologies, ensuring high-quality releases and efficient CI/CD processes. This is a deeply technical role that involves coding, tooling, and collaboration with developers to build reliable and scalable test infrastructure.Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain QA strategies across multiple products and teams.
  • Define testing standards, tools, and methodologies, including automation, CI/CD integration, and release validation.
  • Provide technical guidance to developers on how to write effective tests and improve test coverage.
  • Introduce new tools, frameworks, or processes to elevate testing practices across the organization.
  • Work closely with DevOps to support testing pipelines and release readiness in both cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Identify areas of risk and proactively prioritize where deeper testing or automation is needed.
  • Remain hands-on, contributing code and participating in test design and execution.
  • Help the company shift-left by empowering developers to own more of the testing process while maintaining architectural oversight.
  • Define strategy and guidance for load and performance testing.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in QA or Test Engineering roles.
  • At least 3 years in a senior, lead, or architect-level QA position with technical ownership.
  • Strong hands-on experience building test infrastructure for complex product solutions or distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in integrating CI/CD tools, versioning workflows, and release orchestration.
  • Solid programming/scripting skills, ideally in Node.js and Python.
  • Experience working with Angular in frontend and databases such as MongoDB, OpenSearch.
  • Deep familiarity with AWS environments and cloud-native testing strategies.
  • Experience supporting both cloud and on-prem deployments.
  • Ability to evaluate and onboard new tools and technologies into the testing ecosystem.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams.
