A few years ago, when Michael and I started Zenity, most of the industry was not ready to hear what we believed. Software itself was changing. AI would let millions of people, not just engineers, build and automate real work. And securing that world would take a completely new approach, because we would no longer be protecting software. We would be protecting systems that think, decide, and act on their own.
That future showed up faster than anyone expected. Across every industry, organizations are deploying AI agents into finance, customer service, engineering, HR, and security operations. What if thousands of agents today becomes millions tomorrow. The question is no longer whether enterprises will trust AI agents to act on their behalf. They already do. The question is whether they can do it safely.
Our customers taught us the hard way that visibility is not enough, and that catching a problem after the fact is already too late. You have to understand what an agent intends to do before it acts. You have to distinguish real business intent from manipulated behavior, and hold every agent to clear boundaries. That lesson lives in everything we build.
So today means a great deal to any Zenitter out there. Zenity has raised a $125M Series C led by Norwest, with participation from Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures, LG Technology Ventures, and our returning partners Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, DTCP, and Intel Capital.
But the truth is, no round funds what actually built this company. To the Zenity team: thank you for the 24/7 commitment, for holding yourselves to the highest standard, and for pushing every day to solve a problem the world had not caught up to yet. None of this happens without you.
To our customers and partners: thank you for trusting us on one of the most ambitious journeys any enterprise can take, building your future on AI. You brought us some of the hardest problems in enterprise AI security, challenged us to solve them, and helped shape what Zenity has become. We have learned alongside you from the beginning, and we do not take that trust lightly for a single day.
This investment gives us the resources to move faster for those customers and for the many organizations now confronting the same challenge, accelerating our platform, expanding our research, and bringing AI Agent Security to more enterprises around the world. The next decade will not belong to whoever builds the most AI. It will belong to whoever builds the most trusted AI.
The era of 1 billion AI agents is here. We are honored to help secure it.
